Drow Ranger's given name is Traxex-a name well suited to the short, trollish, rather repulsive Drow people. But Traxex herself is not a Drow. Her parents were travelers in a caravan set upon by bandits, whose noisy slaughter of innocents roused the ire of the quiet Drow people. After the battle settled, the Drow discovered a small girl-child hiding in the ruined wagons, and agreed she could not be abandoned. Even as child, Traxex showed herself naturally adept at the arts they prized: Stealth, silence, subtlety. In spirit, if not in physique, she might have been a Drow changeling, returned to her proper home. But as she grew, she towered above her family and came to think of herself as ugly. After all, her features were smooth and symmetrical, entirely devoid of warts and coarse whiskers. Estranged from her adopted tribe, she withdrew to live alone in the woods. Lost travelers who find their way from the forest sometimes speak of an impossibly beautiful Ranger who peered at them from deep among the trees, then vanished like a dream before they could approach. Lithe and stealthy, icy hot, she moves like mist in silence. That whispering you hear is her frozen arrows finding an enemy's heart.

INTRODUCTION
Drow Ranger is a hero that has the highest damage and attack speed for Ranged heroes. You will kill enemies easily wih just a few hits with this hero. You will outdamage emeies with this hero. The rule for this hero is simple, just right click the enemy one by one.

ABILITIES
1. Frost Arrows

Adds a freezing effect to Drow's attacks, slowing enemy movement. Lasts 1.5 seconds on Heroes, and 7 seconds on creeps. Frost Arrows is a Unique Attack Modifier, and does not stack with other Unique Attack Modifier.

Decent skill to make your enemy move so slow so that you can hits him easily, he will hard to escape. Or if your opponent decided to fight you back, he will walk slow to you so he will receive more damge from you. This is also an orb effect, so you can't use this skill and orb effects like lifesteal or mana burn together. 

2. Silence

Stops all enemy units in a target area from casting spells.

Your defensive spells. This skill makes your opponent in AoE of skill skill cannot use their spells. Because the area of this skill is relative small, you must be careful to use it.

3. Precision Aura

Adds bonus damage to the physical attack of allied ranged units on the map based on a percentage of Drow's agility. When toggled on, affects creeps as well.

ABILITY: NO TARGET, AURA, TOGGLE	RANGE DAMAGE BONUS: 14% /18% /22% / 26%
AFFECTS: ALLIES

This skill makes your damage become so high and makes you easier to kill enemies.
With this skill maxed, you will need just few hits to kill one enemy.

4. Marksmanship

Drow's experiences in battle improve her accuracy and effectiveness in combat, providing a passive bonus to Agility. Grants double the bonus if there are no nearby enemy heroes within a 400 AoE.

Very good skill to increase damage, attack speed and evasion. This ability is what you really need. With this skill you will attack faster with more damage.
This ability will make you can kill enemies easily. This skill also helps you farms faster because its additional damage.

Why Silence first? To avoid firstblood from enemies. You need defense.

Why Precision Aura maxed first? To harass enemies and to makes you easier to lasthits

Why Frost Arrows and Silence maxed in middlegame? In this state of the game, there will be lots of teamfights and ganks, so you need silence to makes opponents cannot use their spells and you also needs frost arrows to make you can chase opponents.

STRATEGY
Early Game
You must last hits every creeps. You must try to last hits precisely. Your skill Precision Aura will add damages to makes you easier to last hits. If there is a chance, you need to harass enemies in your lane once in a while. you have high damage, remember that. And if somebody wants to kill you, you must run, you are squishy, and you must defense with Silence to make opponents can't use their skill.

Mid Game
You must continue your farm here.You must continue your farm until you have nice items in your pocket. Beware of ganks from the invisible spot, wards will helps. If there is a teamfight, you are not must to participate, but if you participate it will be good too. Your part in teamfight is to Silence enemy in early teamfights, and right click enemies one-by-one. And if there is an enemy who trying to escape, you can use Frost Arrows to helps you chase him.

Late Game
In late game, try to move as a team with your friends, and if there is an empty lane and creeps is coming to your tower/base, farms there. Your part here become more significant to the win/lose of the game. You are the main damage dealer here, you have high damage and attack speed.
In the teamfight, you must shelter behind your friends and attacks enemy from far range.

1.  Power Threads
Total cost: 1400
Recipe: Gloves of Haste, Boots of Speed, Belt og Giant Strength/ Robe of Magi/ Band of Elvenskin

Active: Switch Attribute - Changes selected attribute between Strength, Agility and Intelligence. Flat movement speed bonuses from multiple pairs of boots do not stack. + 55 Movement Speed + 8 Selected Attribute   + 30 Attack Speed

Why Power Threads? It will gives you attack speed, thats what you need, attack speed and damages. Power threads is laso a flexible shoes, you can change it to STR, AGI, or INT for what you need.

2. Shadow Blade

Recipe: Shadow Amulet + Claymore

Active: Shadow Walk - Makes you invisible until the duration ends, or until you attack or cast a spell. While Shadow Walk is active, you move 20% faster and can move through units. If attacking to break the invisibility, you gain 150 bonus damage on that attack. Lasts 12 seconds. + 30 Damage + 30 Attack Speed     Manacost: 75    Cooldown: 18

Why Shadow Blade? You don't have an escaping skills, so this item provide one. This item will give you invisibility when activated. Very Good to keep you alive in certain situation like when you are ganked, or when you on low hp after a teamfight.

3. Helm of the Dominator and upgrade it into Satanic Later
Total Cost: 1850
Recipe: Morbid Mask, Helm of iron Will

Active: Dominate - Take control of a non-hero, non-ancient target unit. Passive: Lifesteal - Gives lifesteal on attacks. Helm of the Dominator is a Unique Attack Modifier, and does not stack with other Unique Attack Modifiers. + 20 Damage    + 5 Armor     LIFESTEAL: 15% Manacost: 75     Cooldown: 60

This is an alternative item for Drow Ranger. If you attack with lifesteal, you don't get Frost Attack, so you must cast frost attack if there is an enemy trying to escape. This items gives you Damage and the most important: lifesteal. With lifesteal you can survive in a tough teamfight.
This item also gives you the ability to dominate creeps, I recommend you to dominate Alpha Wolf to increase your damage.

4. Manta Style
Total cost: 5050
Recipe: Yasha, Ultimate Orb, Recipe

Active: Mirror Image - Creates 2 illusions of your hero that last 20 seconds. Melee illusions deal 33% damage and take 250% bonus damage. Ranged illusions deal 28% damage and take 300% bonus damage. Percentage based movement speed bonuses from multiple items do not stack. + 10 Strength + 26 Agility    + 10 Intelligence    + 15 Attack Speed    + 10% Movement Speed Manacost:165    Cooldown:50

Why Manta Style? Creates 2 illusion of yourself to attack the enemy. Because your damage is high, this item will reach its maximum potential beecause your illusion will also deal some high damage. This items also provide a defense mechanism for you because your opponent will be confused and don't know whose to attack, they should guess where is the real you.

5. Daedlus
Total cost:: 5750
Recipe: Crystalis + Demon Edge + Recipe

APassive: Critical Strike - Grants a chance to deal critical damage on an attack. + 81 Damage CRITICAL CHANCE: 25%        CRITICAL DAMAGE: 270%

Why Daedlus?
With this, you become a true moster. This is because you have a very high damage and this item will multiply your damage so everyone can't match you anymore.

6. Butterfly
Total cost:: 6000
Recipe: Talisman of Evasion, Eaglesong, Quarterstaff

+ 30 Agility            + 30 Damage + 35% Evasion      + 30 Attack Speed

Why Butterfly?
It gives you more damage and more attack speed that makes you become much more powerful. It also gives evasion to helps you survive in teamfight.

Best Partner

1. Faceless Void

Faceless Void will provide a perfect setup for you. He has an ultimate which will lock down enemies in an area so you can right clik them conveniently.

2. Shadow Shaman

Shadow shaman is a very good supportive hero. he have 2 disables, 3 with wards trap (lock someone inside his wards). A perfect partner for you.

Damage Aura Combo:
3. Vengeful Spirit, Luna Moonfang

Venge or/and Luna have +damage aura, and if combined with your precision aura, it will gives massives damage aura for the whole team.
